Councilman Jesse Hornback

I have been a resident of Sigourney for most of my life. I first moved to Sigourney at age three then lived for a year in Des Moines directly out of college. I have always called Sigourney my home and I don’t forsee me moving from Sigourney anytime soon. I enjoy small town Iowa and all that it has to offer. My wife, Crystal and I have been married for ten years and we have one daughter, Madelynn Belle; age seven. For ten years I have been employed with Keokuk County as the Community Services Director. I first became a council member in November 2011 to fill a vacated seat by Charlie Williams for Sigourney 4th Ward and served briefly until elected in my own right for the At-Large Council position in the Nov. 2011 election. I look forward to representing Sigourney and it’s citizens to the best of my ability. Sigourney is a great town and I am proud to call it my home. Thank you to everyone for giving me the opportunity to serve you. I am currently serving on the finance, water, street & sanition committees.
