City Elected OfficialsMayor Pat Miletich
I have lived in Sigourney since 1965 and retired in 2006 from teaching at the Sigourney High School. I am a mother of two and Nana to five. I am a member of the Sigourney Christian Church, Chapter L., P.E.O., Sigourney Healthy Environment Project (SHEP), Area 15 Regional Planning Commission, and RPA 15 Policy Board. I am committed to the continuous effort to make Sigourney a great place to live now and in the future. Councilman Ed Conrad
I am a lifelong resident of Keokuk County, Iowa. I started school in Sigourney (k and 1), went to 2, 3 and 4 in Harper at the Catholic school, completed middle school and junior high at the Catholic school in Keota, and attended 9 through 12 at Keota. I ventured all the way to Iowa City to attend college. I acquired a BBA in accounting from the U of I College of Business, and a JD from the U of I College of Law. I worked my way through college, and was appointed as Keokuk County magistrate prior to my last semester of law school. I graduated from law school in 1988, and was admitted to the Iowa State Bar Association in February 1989. I started my own practice in Sigourney and continued working as magistrate. In 1994 I began full time practice. I am married to Denise, and we have two boys Eddie II and Mac. This year we are lucky enough to have a daughter, Sil. She is a foreign exchange student from Brazil that we are happy to be hosting. I enjoy outdoor activities (hunting, fishing, golf, and coaching). I love watching football and would like to have a bigger woodworking shop. Councilman Jeff Johnson
I serve on three city committees. I am a member of the Water and Street Committees and I am chairman of the Finance Committee. I am also Mayor Pro-tem. I am employed as Bank Manager and Vice President of MidWestOne Bank in Sigourney. My wife, Linda, and I have lived in Sigourney for five years now. We have six adult children and a handful of grandchildren. I am presently the SADC President and the SENECA Treasurer. Being a part of the City Council has given me another excellent outlet for community service. I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of city government. We have a special group of dedicated and competent people running our town from the City staff to the new Mayor to the other Council members. Councilwoman Jill Moore
I was raised in the Midwest and have many wonderful memories of living in a small town. I also lived in the Houston, Texas area for nearly 14 years and enjoyed the challenges and opportunities of a large city. Returning to the rural area to live and work in Sigourney has been very rewarding and enjoyable. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this community. My professional background is in the medical field. I am a respiratory therapist and have many years of hospital experience, as a therapist and department manager. I have worked for the University of Iowa, College of Public Health as a research assistant with the Keokuk County Rural Health Study since 1996. This position has given me the opportunity to meet and know many people who live in Keokuk County. I ran for city council in the November 2005 election serving the Second Ward. I serve on three committees: Park and Recreation, Streets and Sanitation and am chairman of the Water Committee. Learning the business of our city is very detailed. I hope to serve the people well. Councilman Amber Thompson

I now practice law in Keokuk and Mahaska counties from my office in Oskaloosa.
